Event Description:
We are in a time where we hear about more and more natural disasters, and threats of man-made disasters. Companies need to have a plan so they can survive. We have a wonderful set of speakers who will cover Business Continuity Planning and Disaster Recovery from multiple perspectives - making this a useful session for multiple individuals within an organization.

Registration is required to enter our hosting facility. Please register by Wednesday, October 11, 2017. This meeting is open to InfraGard Members. If you are not a member, please complete an application and SA Michelle Pirtle will work with you to get your risk assessment completed before the meeting so you can attend.

Registration will begin at 9:00 AM. Light morning refreshments will be provided by our host Alpha Technologies.

The building is labeled discreetly with the number 6000.

Parking: Free and located on the right of the circle and on around in the side lot.

Security Requirement: Attendees must present a company photo ID or drivers license upon arrival at the facility for identification validation.

9:45-10:45 Developing and Updating your Business Continuity Plan, Cheryl Buntin, AaSys

What are the necessary components of a Business Continuity Plan? Where do you even start, if you are charged for creating such a plan? If your organization has a plan in place, how often does your company update and enhance your current plan - and what are critical areas where enhancements are critical? Ms. Buntin will highlight all of these areas, and also share first hand recovery stories from Florida and organizations who survived Hurricane Irma.
